About Shadow Lake Lodge
Shadow Lake Lodge is an ACC-operated backcountry lodge with private heated cabins and a communal kitchen, accessed by a hike, ski, or snowshoe from the Redearth Creek trailhead.
Shadow Lake Lodge is an Alpine Club of Canada backcountry lodge offering a more comfortable backcountry experience than a traditional hut, with private sleeping cabins instead of shared dorms.
Where it is
The lodge is located about 14 km from the Redearth Creek trailhead, off the Trans-Canada Highway roughly 40 km north of Banff, Alberta.
How to get there
Access is by hiking, skiing, or snowshoeing in from the trailhead. There is no road or motorized access.

Who can stay
Shadow Lake Lodge is open to everyone — ACC membership is not required. Note that the lodge does not currently have separate member and non-member rates.
