ACC Member Benefits
An overview of what comes with an ACC membership — hut and lodge discounts, section access, member rates on camps and courses, partner discounts, publications, grants, and more.
An ACC membership unlocks a wide range of benefits across the Club's hut network, sections, partners, and programs. Here's what's included.
Backcountry huts and the Canmore Alpine Hostel
- Member rates at more than 30 backcountry huts, the Canmore Alpine Hostel, and Shadow Lake Lodge
- Earlier hut booking access — 180 days in advance, vs 90 for non-members (see How to Book an ACC Hut; BC provincial park huts are an exception)
Local sections
Members can add one or more of the 26+ ACC sections across Canada. Section trips, courses, and social events are usually free or run on a cost-recovery basis. See Section Memberships.
Camps, courses, and Adventures
Member rates on guided ACC camps and courses, including weekend trips, week-long programs, women's-only adventures, and international expeditions.
