Does My TuGo Policy Cover Air Evacuation?

Yes — if you've selected the right optional coverage for your activity, TuGo's emergency medical policy includes air evacuation in a medical emergency.

If you've selected the appropriate optional coverage for your activity (for example, the Mountaineering or Rock Climbing add-on), your TuGo policy includes emergency air evacuation when you have a medical emergency.

This covers urgent transport from remote mountain terrain to the nearest medical facility. The specific coverage limit is set out in your policy documents — review them or contact TuGo for the current amount.

What's not covered

  • Non-medical evacuations (for example, if you become lost during a trip)
  • Activities for which you have not added the required optional coverage
