Coverage for Mountaineering

Mountaineering — including high-altitude expeditions above 6000m — is not covered by a base TuGo policy. Add the Mountaineering add-on under Adventure Sports Optional Coverage when you buy your policy.

Mountaineering is not covered by a base TuGo policy. To be covered, add the Mountaineering add-on under Adventure Sports Optional Coverage when you purchase your policy. This applies to all mountaineering, including high-altitude expeditions above 6000m.

How to add it

  1. Begin a TuGo policy purchase
  2. Under the Emergency Medical plan, click Customize
  3. Check the Mountaineering box
  4. Complete your purchase

If you've already purchased a policy without this add-on, contact TuGo to update your coverage before your trip.
