Free Account, for non-members

The free ACC portal access is to explore the portal and book ACC huts with a standard booking window, at a standard (non-members) rate. It gives a limited view of portal features, helps non-members to manage their hut bookings and give the opportunity for non-members to purchase a Canadian Alpine Journal (CAJ). Free ACC publications are available for non-members through the reading room: The Gazette, the State of The Mountains and the Summit Series (CAJ not included).

How to create a free account

1. On the registration page, choose the option "Create a Free Account"
2. Fill in your personal information and submit
3. Go into your email box and open "complete your registration" email
4. Click the "Complete Registration" link and create a password
5. You will be automatically redirected to the Dashboard of the Member Portal

Managing a hut booking, for non-members

If you book a hut at a standard rate and you are required to complete your information, please create a free account to manage your hut booking and add a mandatory emergency contact.

1. Once registered to a free account, sign in to the member portal at app.alpineclubofcanada.ca
2. Click the menu icon in the upper left corner
3. Click the My Bookings tab
4. Add your emergency contact for your upcoming hut trip

Purchasing a CAJ, for non-members

If you wish to purchase a Canadian Alpine Journal (CAJ) at a non-member rate, please create a free account. Pre-orders of next year's CAJ are only available for members. 

1. Once registered to a free account, sign in to the member portal at app.alpineclubofcanada.ca
2. Click the menu icon in the upper left corner
3. Click the CAJ Order tab
4. Choose an option and complete purchase.

If you wish to become a member, sign in to the member portal at app.alpineclubofcanada.ca, go under My Membership and "Join Now".
