No Pets at ACC Huts
Pets are not allowed at ACC huts — including inside the hut, tied up outside, or anywhere on the property. Plan pet care in advance of your trip.
Pets are not allowed at any ACC hut. This includes:
- Inside the hut
- Tied up outside the hut
- Anywhere on hut property
This policy is in place to keep the huts a peaceful, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests, including those with allergies or who travel for the quiet of the backcountry.
Where pets are welcome
Many trails near ACC huts — particularly in Parks Canada areas — do welcome dogs. Plan a separate trip for your dog or arrange care during your hut stay.
